I’m no Kimbo fan, but I’m wondering if he learned from his embarrassing experience against Seth Petruzelli? How do you think he’ll do?

I read in a blog not to long ago that he got KTFO. of course that’s all hearsay but it would be nice to see it one again. he’s a big guy but they are monsters on the new TUF. I can’t wait. . . . .
I think that just being as Dana White said “the toughest guy at the Barbeque” earns you a shot in TUF thats why the show was started but do I think he will win? No because as you saw against Seth Petruzelli he has no technique compared to the average UFC fighter, but with training anything is possible. He definitely has the correct mindset and the right skills. We will have to see how he does.
Kimbo proved what he was all about in elite xc. . . no ground game and throwin bombs at the other guy. . . He wont go far in UFighter, but dana will get some good publicity out of it. The cage is different than the streets.
I think he’s going to lose.
It will be interesting. Kimbo will make it in the UFC, because he will sell tickets. Like or hate him, most everyone wants to see him fight.
You have to give him credit for getting back out there and taking a shot at the biggest stage in MMA.
He could have easily been a huge star and made big money in Japan (i. e. Bob Sapp) and risked nothing in terms of reputation. But he sucked it up, knowing that everyone was going to be goofing him about the Petruzelli loss.
Everyone who fights legit talent in MMA loses. It’s the nature of the game. That’s why it’s not boxing where the best avoid the best as long as possible. One punch is all it takes in MMA and that’s part of the excitement.
My hat is off to Kimbo, win or lose. If nothing else, the guy sells tickets. Why else would the UFC be promoting him so hard in TUF?
EXACTLY, HE IS A MEDIA MACHINE – I HAD HEARD HE LOSES HIS FIRST FIGHT BUT IT’S JUST A RUMOR – THE UFC WILL PROBABLY OFFER HIM A CONTRACT EITHER WAY, DANA NEEDS THE PRESS AND MORE FIGHTERS TO FILL A VACANT HEAVY WEIGHT DIVISION, HE IS RUNNING OUT OF PEOPLE TO THROW AT LESNER AND STRIKEFORCE MIGHT OFFER A CONTRACT TO KIMBO IF THE UFC DOES NOT
He’s going to get knocked the fuck out by one of those big boys, guaranteed.
