His six figure contract is for the year not for just one fight. Before he spends one year in UFC he will have earned more then $100,000.

It doesnt mean he’ll get 6 figures every fight, just by the end of the contract he’ll have 6 figures.

He actually got 33k for his fight wiht Assuncao. Nate got a three fight contract for 100k plus he gets paid by his sponsors so he pulls closer to 50k a fight when its all said and done.

The six-figure contract is for a guaranteed six figures over the course of the year. He has the potential to make much more than that if he:
a) wins (double the guaranteed purse)
b) makes Fight/Submission/Knockout of the Night (last I heard, this was $40,000 each)
c) gets sponsorship deals
d) re-negotiates his contract prior to the final fight on this one (Zuffa standard rules).
He’s guaranteed $100,000, but the reality is that he will likely make roughly double that.

the contract is not just “1″ fight, the contract is usally a 3 year contract.
