The Brits did us proud in that finale, but Demarques was quality all the way through the series… so i’m gutted for him. He was abit too bitchy to be a Mixed Martial Artist though, you need to have more respect than that really…
Some of the best fights i`ve ever seen…
Whats this got to do with Iran lol ? Theres no bad blood between UK / US & I dont think Dana is planning on setting up The Ultimate Fighter US vs Iran anytime soon.
guida is a guido!
god wanna see real fights
i think sanchez will be getting a title shot next year.
That Sanchez vs. Guida was pretty sick match.
So your solution is shut down the olympics? Rubbish.
If the iranians don’t want to fight then don’t let. You want to be an idiot you should be treated like an idiot, that’s my motto.
The eurovision song contest has suffered from that problem for as long as I can remember, the last one wasn’t bad though.
I don’t think they’ll be doing another UK vs USA anyway will they? It was appealing first time round but I don’t think they will do it again and it doesn’t make sense to.
This seriese alone wouldn’t have brought in the bad audiences but constant use of this type of promotion will
Look at the olympics, you have Iranian judo fighters refusing to fight israeli fighters just because they don’t recognise there country. This is the kind of politics being invited into the UFC.
The olympics are supose to be friendly competition but time after time national politics are involved always!
international competion has alway been a bigots dream.
seriously?
Well it’s up to the UFC. I personally don’t support the point that we should lose out on such great events because there are idiots on the earth. UFC s10 was great imo. A bit of friendly competition. The fact the competitors showed they were friendly towards each other about the whole thing is the real example that needs to be set.
I don’t believe this series has attracted a lot of idiots, and even if it has they’ll only be sitting in their armchairs dictating like they do for everything else.
UFC is for low -self esteem pussys!!!
let the flaming replys begin in 3…2..1!
I can’t deny what you say as being a very fair point. And if only silly people didn’t come along and think that there country was the be all and end all. but the facts are these people do exsist so why invite them into a sport that didn’t realy have them.
i truly think it should be the individual who is supported and not the nation. in the case of the UFC its not like this was the be all and end all to there organisation.
Could you last with Brock in the octagon?
hey did you Know WWE is fake you tool face. UFC they get punched they bleed and they sure the hell get beat, WWE is all rehearsed the guys running down into the ring it’s all fake they know what is coming, I hate people like you that think fake is better than real fighting.
Caly Guida wins.
are you fucking retarded?
No doubt, but it’s stupid people with little in the way of sense that take a good bit of national competition the wrong way. These people will always exist in the world, so in my view it’s better to weed them out than lose what is good sprtsmanship between the two comptetetors and good entartainment for those that watch the sport and don’t think they’re superman defending their country with racist comments and unprovoked violence.
Why should we lose out because of the handful of idiots?
I don’t want to sound like a know it all and i’m not saying i’m the one to talk to about this. but i have been studying sport sociology for some time and from what i see there is one reason why this is good and millions why its bad.
History shows us than when you introduce the race and nationality into sporting settings it increases awarness but at the cost of peace. Look at all the issues with the olympics and look at the situation between barcelona and Real madrid.
I’m from the uk and i have to be honest MMA is big already, not as big a boxing or WWE but the UFC is big.
Having nations coliode is a good way of promoting the sport globally but you run the risk of bringing in the wrong type of audience.
as far as i can tell the UFC has managed to promote its self without highlighting issues of race and nationallity not because they wanted to prove a point but because it has no rellavence on a persons athletic ability.
what do u mean he got robbed???? he got rock’t in the first round 2 times an then got nasty elbows!!
clay guida got robbed
